About The Position

The Ohio State University at Newark seeks a part-time (50% FTE), nine-month lecturer to teach Business classes in academic year 2026-2027 as assigned. Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues.
Performance Objectives
Teaching: Develop and deliver courses in formats that could include in-class, online, or hybrid. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.

Requirements

• MBA or equivalent degree
• Teaching experience at the post-secondary level

Nice To Haves

• Strong preference for a candidate with familiarity with OSU’s Fisher College of Business
