JOB SUMMARY As a Business Intern with Schellman, you'll support the CSO, Client Services, and Project Management teams on initiatives focused on process improvement, systems documentation, and operational efficiency. With two new platforms recently implemented — Kantata and Ironclad — you'll help create the workflows, templates, SOPs, and FAQs that enable teams to use these tools effectively. This role is a great fit for someone who is process-minded, tech-curious, and excited about building scalable systems.

Requirements

  • Strong process-oriented thinking and interest in operations and systems
  • Familiarity with AI platforms and enthusiasm for applying them to real workflows
  • Experience with or ability to quickly learn Miro, Visio, Kantata, Ironclad, Wrike, Jira, and Confluence
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field
  • Completed 2 years of education, achieving Junior level status
  • Experience through coursework, internships, or projects involving operations, project coordination, or process documentation

Responsibilities

  • Develop SOPs, FAQs, and supporting documentation for newly implemented systems (Kantata and Ironclad)
  • Build and maintain workflow diagrams and process maps using Miro or Visio
  • Create and standardize templates to support resource management and contract management processes
  • Explore and apply AI tools, including Claude, to improve documentation and operational efficiency
  • Consolidate and organize metrics reporting across client services and project management functions
  • Support updates to intake processes, identifying gaps and recommending improvements
  • Maintain and update internal knowledge bases in Confluence and project records in OneTrust
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather input and validate processes
  • Adhere to project timelines and escalate issues in a timely manner
  • Prepare and deliver an end-of-term project summarizing findings and recommendations
  • Attend team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement
