We’re looking for enthusiastic, fun, and energetic individuals who take the work seriously, but not themselves. This internship is a 10-12 week development opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in construction operations, project coordination, and documentation management. The Intern will spend their program immersing themselves into the hotel development discipline by shadowing critical leaders, attending meetings and working alongside vendors and leadership team to ensure the day-to-day success of the department. The objective of this program is to provide you with a foundation that will prepare you for a long-term career within the hospitality industry.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in Construction Management , or related degree program
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend
  • Ability to lift and pull 25 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Corrected vision to normal range
  • Ability to drive/transport self and others
  • Ability to travel on occasion for meetings
  • Ability to work long hours as needed
  • Make sound judgments quickly
  • Work on multiple tasks, making appropriate progress toward deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Support the project and construction management team with administrative and coordination tasks that help keep projects organized and moving forward.
