Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in internal communications and budget management.
  • Willingness to travel to powerplants onsite in Colorado is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Take on a leading role in development and execution an internal communication campaign to enhance employee engagement and awareness of company initiatives.
  • Stakeholder mapping and persona‑based messaging.
  • Data Analysis; supporting leadership finance initiatives with the analysis and evaluation of marketing efforts to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information, draft communications, and ensure messaging consistency across multiple platforms (email, intranet, presentations, etc.).
  • Be a driver of change in processes and knowledge of budget data to identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings.
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing communication effectiveness and budget performance.
  • Research industry best practices in internal communications and budget management to recommend improvements.
  • Monitor and update internal communication channels, ensuring content is accurate and timely.
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project planning
