About The Position

The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for owning Civitechâs internal reporting, analytics, and performance insights across the organization. This role ensures leadership and functional teams have accurate, timely, and actionable data to support decision-making, operational planning, and accountability. Reporting directly to the COO, this role sits at the intersection of data, operations, finance, and product. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across systems, translating business questions into clear metrics, and building reporting infrastructure that scales with the organization. This role requires strong analytical execution paired with systems thinking and clear communication.

Requirements

4+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, data operations, or a closely related role
Advanced SQL proficiency with hands-on experience in Google BigQuery, including writing complex queries, optimizing performance, and validating data accuracy
Experience working across multiple business systems and data sources, including HubSpot (CRM), Gainsight (customer success), and project or work management tools such as Asana
Familiarity with SaaS metrics (ARR, churn, pipeline, usage analytics, etc.)
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining dashboards, reports, and data models using BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau or similar)
Strong ability to translate business and operational questions into clearly defined metrics, repeatable reporting, and actionable insights
Comfort partnering cross-functionally with Finance, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Client Success, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
High attention to detail, strong data hygiene practices, and a clear sense of ownership over the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of internal reporting
