Works under the supervision of a Data Trust Analytic Team Leader or other data governance or analytic leadership appropriate for the scope of work. This supervision may be through a matrixed or direct reporting structure. This role is responsible for data analytics and additional support of performance measures, ongoing measurement, data collection, reporting, data visualization, and information dissemination. They are subject matter data experts who work with IT solutions to solve high-priority organizational analytic problems in their work area. This role involves developing and fine-tuning exploratory IT solutions, which include coding, testing, debugging, designing, and implementing newly developed BI solutions. Spends time researching and planning analytic solutions for existing and new problems within the organization as directed by their supervisor and leadership. Responsible for leading the subject matter strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence tools. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems independently. Ensures that the use of business intelligence applications enhances clinical & business decision-making capabilities. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state-of-the-art technical or industry knowledge. Goals are communicated in solution or project goal terms. Will provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Partners and collaborates with other analytic teams and data warehouse engineers.
