About The Position

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Developer of Analytics & Data Insights who goes beyond building reports to deliver insight that drives action. In this role, you’ll partner with Operations, Finance, and Development to translate complex business questions into meaningful analytics, dashboards, and automated solutions.

You’ll design and deliver high-quality reporting and document generation tools using Salesforce, Tableau, SQL-based reporting, and Conga Composer, helping teams see trends, track performance, and make smarter decisions—faster.

POSITION SUMMARY 

The Business Intelligence Developer of Analytics & Data Insights serves as an advanced analytics and reporting professional responsible for evaluating business needs, determining appropriate reporting solutions, and delivering high quality analytical outputs. This role goes beyond report development to include analytical judgment, stakeholder consultation, and solution design.

The Business Intelligence Developer of Analytics & Data Insights will design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and document generation solutions utilizing Salesforce, Tableau, SQL based reporting tools, and Conga Composer. 

This position partners closely with the Operations, Finance, and Development departments to translate business questions into actionable analytics and data insights.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Business Intelligence Developer, Reporting, Data Analyst, or similar analytics-focused role.
• Strong analytical background with demonstrated ability to translate business questions into data solutions.
• Proficiency in SQL and analytics-driven query development.
• Experience with Salesforce data structures and reporting tools.
• Experience with document generation tools such as Conga Composer.

Nice To Haves

• Tableau experience is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of nonprofit or higher education data environments preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate analytical questions and requests to determine the best method for delivering insights (trend analysis, KPI evaluation, segmentation, or deeper investigation).
• Apply strong analytical reasoning to interpret business questions, identify patterns or anomalies, and recommend actionable next steps.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business objectives into meaningful metrics and insights that support strategic and operational outcomes
• Design and maintain document generation solutions utilizing Conga Composer, reporting queries, and templates.
• Develop and optimize queries that support automated document production, including letters, reports, exports, and operational documents.
• Partner with the Operations, Finance, and Development departments to streamline and standardize document workflows.
• Collaborate with system administrators, data teams, and business users to improve data access and reporting efficiency.
• Create and maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, queries, and document generation processes.
• Stay current on analytics, reporting, and business intelligence best practices.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
