About The Position

Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for developing innovation solutions? Join our team! As a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer I, you will assist in designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making. You will work under the guidance of senior developers to build data models, generate reports, and create visualizations that provide insights into business operations. The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. The MST team has a long legacy of supporting the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, commercial and international customers with years of experience in platform operations, engineering and full lifecycle management across domains – air, land, sea, space and cyber.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field with at least 0-2 years of relevant experience
• Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
• Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (one or more of the following: Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, qlikview, TIBCO Spotfire, SAP Business Objects, SAP Crystal Reports)
• Ability to Obtain and Maintain United States Secret Security Clearance
• U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of Business Intelligence / Data Warehousing concepts with knowledge of ETL and Reporting tools.
• Professional experience with Data profiling, SQL , Python , and MS SQL Server

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of BI solutions, including reports and dashboards.
• Support the extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) of data from various sources.
• Collaborate with team members to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform data analysis to help identify trends and insights.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity in BI solutions.
• Provide support and training to end-users on BI tools.
• Maintain documentation for BI processes and solutions.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to provide actionable insights to stakeholders, supporting data-driven decision-making.
