About The Position

TruHome Solutions has provided private-label mortgage services to credit unions since 2004. By partnering with us, you’ll break through the barriers of cost, regulation, and technology, resulting in increased loyalty and service of your members in one of the most important times of their lives. As a Business Intelligence Analyst at TruHome Solutions, you will help turn data into business insights and decisions. This role is more than building dashboards, you’ll partner with leaders and teams across TruHome (and our credit union partners) to understand business questions, translate them into clear metrics and insights, and deliver trustworthy reporting that drives action. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders, Senior BI Analysts, and Data Engineering to ensure curated, reliable data is available for analysis and reporting. You’ll also support key operational needs such as credit union onboarding/offboarding reporting requirements and data validation in the data warehouse.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical or technical field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Reporting roles.
  • Strong SQL skills (joins, aggregations, window functions, and performance-aware querying).
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, including dashboards and reporting, and the ability to build or support paginated reports.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills—able to explain insights clearly and collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with limited information, and proactively driving clarity and outcomes.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (Microsoft Azure) and familiarity with using cloud data warehouses such as Databricks as an analyst/consumer.
  • Experience supporting data quality, validation, or reconciliation processes in a reporting environment.
  • Interest in learning the mortgage and credit union domain (or experience in financial services).

Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to clarify needs, refine requirements, and translate questions into actionable analytics and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and paginated reports that are accurate, scalable, and easy to consume.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for reporting, analysis, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Help define and standardize business metrics and reporting logic, ensuring consistency across teams and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to provide inputs for building trusted, curated datasets in the data warehouse.
  • Support data quality and validation efforts, identify issues early, and help drive root cause resolution.
  • Assist with credit union onboarding/offboarding data and reporting needs, ensuring smooth transitions and strong visibility into operational performance.
  • Maintain clear documentation in Confluence, including metric definitions and reporting logic.
  • Maintain a high standard of confidentiality and security regarding all data and reporting.
