About The Position

The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for analyzing data to support business decision-making processes. This role involves creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide insights into business performance and trends.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, data science, information technology, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business intelligence or data analysis.
  • Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
  • Skills/Attributes: Proficiency in analyzing data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
  • Expertise in using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL for report and dashboard creation.
  • Skills in designing and developing visualizations to effectively communicate data findings.
  • Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Experience in cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Advanced skills in using Excel for data analysis and visualization.
  • Ability to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business performance.
  • Strong communication skills to present data findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated to work through complex problems and competing priorities, including a high level of detail and organization.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Gather, clean, and analyze data from various sources to identify trends and insights.
  • Create detailed reports and dashboards using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present data in an accessible format.
  • Design and develop visualizations to effectively communicate data findings to stakeholders.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on business performance.
  • Work closely with other departments to understand their data needs and provide relevant insights.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data by performing regular quality checks and validation.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
  • Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
  • Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.
