Business Intelligence Analyst

Leo Facilities MaintenanceWest Chester, PA

About The Position

We are looking for a driven detail-oriented Business Intelligence Analyst to become the cornerstone of our data and analytics function. This is a high-impact, ownership-driven role. You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end lifecycle of our data solutions, from raw ingestion and data quality governance through to polished executive-facing dashboards. You will work directly with leadership, operations, finance, sales, HR, and technology teams, translating complex data into clear, actionable insight. If you thrive on building things that matter, take pride in clean data, and love automating the mundane so you can focus on the meaningful then this role was built for you.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in a Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, or Analytics Engineer role
  • Advanced SQL proficiency – Schemas, warehouses, stages, tasks, streams, and query optimization
  • Proven experience with Snowflake or equivalent
  • Advanced Power BI skills
  • Data modeling, DAX, row-level security, deployment pipelines, and gateway management
  • Demonstrated experience owning data quality programs
  • Workflow automation using Power Automate, N8N, or similar RPA tooling
  • Hands-on experience with at least one automation through API
  • SharePoint, Teams integrations
  • Deep familiarity with the Microsoft 365 / Azure ecosystem
  • Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and modern architecture patterns
  • Exceptional communication skills — proven ability to present complex data to non-technical stakeholders confidently
  • Self-starter mentality with a track record of owning projects from concept to delivery with minimal supervision
  • Quick learner who actively stays current with evolving tools, platforms, and industry best practices

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Python or AI Agents for data transformation and pipeline orchestration
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices applied to data and BI projects (git, version control, testing frameworks)
  • Background in building semantic layers or metrics layers (Power BI Tabular models)
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies in a data team context
  • Microsoft certifications — PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst), DP-900, DP-203, or equivalent
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, forecasting models, or machine learning concepts
  • Experience in a fast-scaling organization where processes and infrastructure were built, not inherited

Responsibilities

  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of all Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards across the organization
  • Establish and enforce reporting standards, including naming conventions, data model governance, and version control
  • Translate business questions from all organizational levels — from frontline staff to the C-suite — into clear, accurate visual analytics
  • Deliver self-service BI capabilities that reduce ad hoc data requests and empower teams to answer their own questions
  • Own data quality end-to-end: define standards, build monitoring pipelines, triage anomalies, and communicate findings proactively
  • Implement and maintain data validation frameworks within Snowflake and downstream reporting layers
  • Partner with data owners across the business to document data lineage, definitions, and business rules
  • Develop and maintain a data dictionary and metadata catalog to support organizational data literacy
  • Maintain and innovate automated workflows using Power Automate, N8N, or equivalent RPA platforms to reduce manual data handling
  • Build and maintain data pipelines that connect source systems to Snowflake and BI layers with minimal latency and maximum reliability
  • Identify repetitive, manual processes across the organization and proactively develop automation solutions
  • Support integration between Microsoft 365 ecosystem tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Outlook) and core data infrastructure
  • Contribute to the design and evolution of our Snowflake data warehouse — schemas, data models, access patterns, and performance optimization
  • Advise on and implement best practices for star schema, data vault, or medallion architecture patterns depending on use case
  • Collaborate with engineering and IT to ensure data solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational strategy
  • Support the evaluation and adoption of new data tools, platforms, and emerging technologies
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for data questions, needs, and escalations across the organization
  • Present findings, project status, and data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Lead regular reporting reviews, data working groups, or analytics office hours to increase data fluency across teams
