Business Intelligence Analyst
About The Position
The Business Intelligence Analyst supports the development and distribution of data and insights that measure and inform business/division activities, such as marketing and operations, to drive sales, analyze performance, and identify opportunities. This role will track, summarize, and distribute data that includes a variety of metrics and KPIs. This position will utilize a variety of tools and provide insights to various leaders and other constituents with reliable quantitative and qualitative data and reports to support decision-making and understanding of business performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or related field is required
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in Financial and/or marketing analysis
- Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Working knowledge and experience with business intelligence and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and pivot tables
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
- Strong technical research skills
- Confident presenting financial results to a non-financial audience
- Experience deriving actionable business insights from imperfect data sets
- Hybrid role - ability to work at the Home Office at least 3 days per week.

- Work experience in the restaurant and/or retail CPG industries is preferred
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis for support of key company annual strategic goals. This includes but isn't limited to pricing, menu mix analysis, new product development, and competitive research
- Assist with the development and analysis of pre/post tests for Marketing, Operations, and Pricing tests
- Analyze ongoing reports as assigned which support the restaurant business looking for key insights in a timely and thorough manner. This includes written reports and visual/audio presentations using such tools as Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and more
- Stay informed and monitor lists of all economic and competitive variables that could influence the business and develop reports and processes that efficiently monitor this data/information and seek ways to integrate findings into all analysis
- Support the analysis and execution of overall business performance, including any KPIs, segmentation, Loyalty performance, and test offers
- Build and maintain proper documentation, procedures, and guidelines around the analytical work and methodologies for analytical solution deployment
- Participate and support the ad hoc needs of various internal groups
- Performs other duties as assigned.
