About The Position

This position is able to be a remote work from home position. Must live in Florida, Georgia, Nevada, Ohio, Tennessee or Texas to be considered. SUMMARY This position is responsible for turning data into knowledge through Summit Racing’s enterprise Business Intelligence tool set. The BI analyst will be part of a team responsible for building out a corporate analytics data suite, producing impactful dashboards or Reports to drive performance and enable self-service insight delivery. The BI Analyst will ensure the right information is available to build and track key metrics, enabling critical business decisions. This position will collaborate with various IT groups and internal business end users. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with the user community to create new business intelligence, reporting and data analysis solutions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders at all levels to develop and define business questions. Create standardized business reporting to identify exceptions that enable quick course correction Show expertise in data analysis, independently mine data to translate business needs into creative visualizations Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to key stakeholders Gather requirements, design reporting, deployment, and continuous improvement Support peers and stakeholders as a subject matter expert through troubleshooting and analysis of results Assist with BI tool training for internal users to enable self-service Maintain a single source of truth for company-wide metrics, and ensure consistent and standard metric definitions across all reports Design, build and maintain a suite of MicroStrategy dashboards and reports to track key performance metrics and enable self-service data discovery to drive business performance Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements. Validate data delivered to user community. Monitor software systems to ensure reliability and accuracy of information loaded into the databases. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and must not require sponsorship for employment. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline that has a strong focus on technical support of data analysis. Minimum of 3 years of information technology experience in a Data Warehouse or Business Intelligence environment, with strong SQL skills in relational database platforms. Experience with MicroStrategy, TOAD DataPoint, PowerBI, Cognos, and / or advanced 3GL or 4GL is a plus. Knowledge of data storytelling, predictive analytics, visualization design, and python, also a plus. Must be able to work as part of a larger team, with others, in a role-based environment. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, associate’s degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline that has a strong focus on technical support of data analysis.

Nice To Haves

Experience with MicroStrategy, TOAD DataPoint, PowerBI, Cognos, and / or advanced 3GL or 4GL is a plus.
