Applicants beyond fifty (50) miles may still be considered.Job Summary Performs data analysis supporting growth and profitability in a region, or part of a region. Performs detailed analysis of product, pricing, and growth at a countrywide, regional, and state level. Analysis includes marketplace dynamics, competitive analysis, pricing segmentation, and line and segment level analysis within assigned scope and support from leader.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelors degree preferred in the area of business management, mathematics, management information, finance, actuarial science, economics or other analytics related field.
2 years insurance or financial services analytics experience required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to secure 'buy-in' and convince others regarding best approach.
Goal oriented team player with a positive attitude.
Excellent time management skills.
Strong relationship building.

Nice To Haves

Experience working in Commercial Insurance/Business Insurance strongly preferred.
Pursuing CPCU preferred.

Responsibilities

Gathers and manipulates data and information to analyze and work on moderately scoped issues, recommending actions to achieve business goals.
Collaborates with business partners to understand desired business outcomes and offers product perspective and expertise.
Completes and maintains competitive and marketplan analysis within limited region or part of a region and support from leader.
Provides recommendations using analysis and interpretation of rates, data, and trends to assigned projects.
Creates and maintains a collaborative relationship with field partners who support local strategies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
