About Role: The Business Improvement Manager supports the development and delivers a value stream Business Improvement Strategy to ensure that the business performance aligns to internal and external customer expectations and to lead the value stream strategy to ensure maximum efficiency through process compliance and application of Business Improvement. Deliver tangible benefits to the organization, relating to EBITDA improvement, cost savings or cost avoidance. Supporting all local Improve activities and being the Sponsor/Lead for all develop projects. Engaging cross functionally and cross value stream to ensure all business improvement activities are fully embedded. The BI function is responsible for ensuring that customer requests are understood and translated into robust processes and plans. This is achieved by working with all employees to increase the company’s efficiency, effectiveness and profitability by identifying and facilitating opportunities for improvement. Develop strong internal relationships with all functions; personally drive Value Stream level improvement activity. Develop and drive a business improvement strategy to include performance targets, resource requirements, training requirements and capability growth to maximize the efficiency of the Value Stream. Improve business performance by identifying key areas for business improvement, lead and ensure all departments have an active Continuous Improvement Plan to improve their areas of performance. · Deploy functional processes and procedures across the Value Stream including people, rules and tools to maximize functional efficiency. Develop a 3-year business improvement plan to include targets split by year creating a policy deployment matrix linked back through smart objectives. Ensure accurate resource planning to meet load and capability requirements so that key activities can be prioritized. Develop a Business Improvement Training Program to ensure Lean and CI skills and knowledge transfer to Quality, Operations and Customer Solutions Functions. Participation in improvement activities at department / company level to enhance business performance. Comply with all relevant internal rules, policies and procedures, including those relating to Health and Safety, Data Protection and all those contained within the issued Employee Handbook and Policies and Procedures Manual. · Undertake other duties and tasks that may be allocated that are appropriate to the job and leadership of the Value Stream in general. · Evaluate training needs within Business / across functions with respect to continuous improvement tools and techniques and deliver training plan. · Facilitate the review of improvements projects to ensure, identification of new improvement opportunities, prioritization of new ideas and robust progress of all launched improvement projects. Support Local Business Improvement Engineers in the deployment and governance of the business excellence lean journey. Review and improve Key business processes to drive compliance and to reduce risk of failure. Collaborate with Central BI function to gain buy in and understanding to support key deliverables. Successful delivery of company strategies through the roll out and completion of a PDM Delivery of improvement projects across all functions to meet financial targets, improve customer performance, quality and efficiency Most importantly you will be passionate about our Incora Values and exceeding customer expectations.
