As a Business Experience & Planning Specialist within PNC's Real Estate organization, you will be based in office within the posted job locations. This role is responsible for managing, coordinating, and executing all aspects of cost center changes, reallocations, and new cost center creation within the bank’s Real Estate and Finance segments. This role ensures compliance, accuracy, and efficiency across multiple systems (CIH, CAT, CSX, ACBS, EDGE, Power 1) and serves as a central point of contact for stakeholders throughout the process. Job Description Provides support and assistance for implementation and coordination of planning efforts for line of business initiatives. Demonstrates commitment to quality by delivering customer focus and appropriate risk management practices to customers and/or internal partners. Identifies more complex problems and provides advice and resolution in support of line of business initiatives. Partners with other departments or other functional areas in support of line of business initiatives. Independently provides data collection, research and reporting for assigned line of business initiatives. Recommends and delivers best practices and learning plans that meet business objectives. Requirements

  • Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute cost center reallocation requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance with banking policies.
  • Collaborate with segment and market managers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to assess and approve new or repurposed cost centers.
  • Initiate and track cost center change requests using internal workflow systems, maintaining thorough documentation and communication throughout the process.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for cost center transfers, coordinating approvals between all parties involved to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Process updates and corrections to cost center information across multiple banking platforms, confirming completion and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Monitor outstanding approvals and follow up to ensure timely completion of all tasks, escalating as needed to prevent delays.
  • Maintain detailed records for all cost center actions, supporting compliance and operational transparency.
  • Advise on and facilitate specialized requests, such as manual loan cost center moves and corporate card corrections, working closely with relevant departments.
  • Support the creation and implementation of new cost centers, ensuring readiness for account transfers and system integration.
  • Provide expert guidance on banking systems and cost center processes, staying current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
