About The Position

We’re seeking a relentless, hands-on operator to work directly with the CEO on mission-critical initiatives. You spot problems quickly, dive deep to solve them, negotiate outcomes, understand the economics of what drives profit (margins, unit economics, cross-sell), and push ideas through resistance until they become reality. Immediate priority: own the Los Angeles pilot to test and prove a new business model—new channels, innovative lead generation, dedicated sales + marketing resources, and profitability improvements for our printer + consumables ecosystem. This is builder territory: get it moving, fix what’s broken, measure results, and iterate fast. Once it works, help put lightweight structure around it and move on to the next high-impact initiative. This is not a traditional management role. It’s about your execution horsepower augmenting the CEO’s to drive critical projects from concept to results.

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years in fast-moving environments (startup founder roles, scaling startups, or founder-led companies), with a strong track record as a high-ownership individual contributor who personally drives major initiatives from concept to execution
  • Entrepreneurial operator mindset: Built things from zero, fixed broken projects, pushed through obstacles in ambiguous settings.
  • Strong business/finance instincts: Comfortable with unit economics, cross-margins, go-to-market math (capital equipment + recurring revenue a plus).
  • Elite executor: Sees issues early, scores solutions, negotiates deals, rallies small groups, delivers measurable wins fast.
  • Negotiator + influencer: Wins in commercial discussions, internal alignment, partner deals.
  • Thrives in founder mode: Hands-on, low-ego, high-energy; loves ambiguity and velocity over process.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in medtech, dental, hardware, or B2B sales ecosystems is ideal.
  • Direct experience launching pilots, innovating channels/lead gen, or transforming sales models in equipment/recurring businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Own the pilot projects end-to-end: Design/test new go-to-market models, channels, lead gen tactics (outbound + digital), pricing/profit plays; stand up small execution squads (e.g., 1 sales rep + 1 marketer).
  • Dive into economics: Model margins, CAC/LTV, profitability drivers (what works and what loses money) and drive optimizations with data.
  • Negotiate everything: Partners, vendors, deals, internal buy-in, strong commercial instincts, no fear of tough conversations.
  • Problem-solve relentlessly: When things stall (market pushback, internal friction, execution gaps), go deep, align stakeholders, unblock fast. Bias for action; "no" is a starting point.
  • Drive velocity: Set aggressive cadences, track progress daily/weekly, iterate based on real results.
  • Scale what wins: Transition proven elements to sustainable ops while keeping momentum high.
  • Act as CEO extension: Jump into any high-stakes area, synthesize insights, deliver progress without hand-holding.
