JOB SUMMARY: The Business Enablement Intern supports the Business Enablement Team in operational initiatives within the Real Estate Operations department. This role provides exposure to commercial property management operations and offers hands‑on involvement in projects that enhance efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with, or the capacity to efficiently develop proficiency in, Smartsheets for reporting and dashboard development.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • The ability to work well with others and tackle challenges by focusing on effective solutions.
  • Demonstrates strong integrity and commitment to ethical conduct.
  • Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritize work and operate with minimal supervision.
  • Combination of education, training, experience, skills and other characteristics that would provide the requisite knowledge and abilities in support of the essential job functions.
  • We are looking for a student who will be a rising Senior during the summer of 2026

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and implementation of Real Estate Operations and company‑wide projects.
  • Assist in evaluating and optimizing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and collaborating with team members on solutions to increase productivity.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance Smartsheet solutions used for reporting and workflow management.
  • Assist in creating and updating training materials and departmental manuals.
  • Support the Tax Appeals process, including client outreach, reporting, and follow‑up on outstanding credits and refunds.
  • Assist with vendor engagement, tenant billing, and collection processes related to ancillary revenue streams (e.g., solar, LED projects).
  • Provide backup support for critical business functions such as mail routing, utility activation/deactivation, billing, and collections.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to review project status, priorities, and key initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
