This position is a development position for the Business Development Specialist role. It involves completing a 12-to-15-month structured training program on commercial insurance, agency engagement, and territory management including course work and a review of coverage forms. During the training program, this position will also assist the underwriter by reviewing and preparing renewals and endorsements, learn to manage our agent’s portal, and becoming proficient in agency engagement including travel to various territories throughout our footprint. By the end of the program, you will be prepared to independently manage agency relationships, evaluate commercial risks, and contribute directly to profitable growth.
