Job Summary: Responsible for providing support in performing Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data base administrative tasks. This position will serve as the business unit as a liaison for external and internal customers. This position will typically work under general supervision and direction. This position will use knowledge of organizational policies and business unit objectives to perform tasks that support our business development goals.

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree, plus 2 years of related experience working in Business Development
  • Experience with data bases.
  • Ability to drive projects/issues to completion.
  • Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges.
  • Proficient in data manipulation (Excel).
  • Must be able to travel when required.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a DOD Security clearance
  • Must have extensive experience with Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, fact finding and investigative techniques, oral and written communication, development of presentations and reports required.

Nice To Haves

  • The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail-oriented communicator with experience in federal proposals, market intelligence tools, and collaborative, high-tempo environments
  • Proficiency using federal research and procurement platforms (e.g., GovWin, SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, PIEE, OASIS+)
  • Management of proposal log to ensure submissions remain timely; coordination with team members and approvers

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage Salesforce operation
  • Create and manage reports and dashboards for use in Senior Management briefings and management of company Bookings Pipeline.
  • Convert data into Microsoft presentations and excel spreadsheets as needed to support Business Development efforts.
  • Analyze Bookings Forecast and Discretionary Expense data for accuracy, project forecasts for current and out years revenue and expenses.
  • Prepare Business Development budgetary and financial reports using accounting principles and techniques as they relate to long range operational planning and objectives.
  • Research leads and accounts records in the CRM tool to create, adjust, and manage Customer Contact Plans for all levels of management.
  • Manage user accounts in Salesforce.
  • Manage the technical process of customization of layouts, navigation within the system and translation of business user requests into enhancements.
  • Ensure Business Development Opportunity artifacts are available in system by linking to data repositories inside the firewall.
  • Plan, coordinate and produce marketing communication collateral related to building positive company reputation and brand awareness.
  • Enhance and grow capabilities and features as the company changes.
  • Work with Business Development team to update their records
