About The Position

The Business Development Specialist is part of the Retail Sales Team and will be responsible for identifying incoming leads, building, and furthering the expansion of supported Loan Officers in existing markets.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a liaison between the referral partners and Loan Officers to transition of leads.
  • Work with Loan Officers and referral partners to improve communication, expectations, and resolve conflict when necessary.
  • Work with the referral partners and Loan Officers to utilize CMG’s technology for the creation of loan application efficiency and condition efficiency.
  • Track incoming leads, status of the leads, and establish communication expectations between supporting Loan Officers and referral partners.
  • Ensure proper pre-screening on incoming leads.
  • Provide referral partner updates on the status of the leads.
  • Contact the referral partner when clients are unresponsive or unwilling to communicate with supporting Loan Officers.
  • Host agent trainings and events to educate and keep a direct line of communication between referral partners and Loan Officers.
  • Promote supporting Loan Officers and their staff on all listing opportunities to improve listing referral partner capture.
