About The Position

We are looking for a dynamic, curious, and self-motivated Business Development & Sales Sr. Director to join our growing team. In this high-impact, individual contributor role, you will own and execute the sales strategy for key named accounts in Canada including resellers. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with teams across product, marketing, and leadership to drive revenue growth, manage client relationships, and exceed ambitious sales targets. Teleste's Broadband Networks business unit delivers products, solutions, and advanced services to broadband network operators. As the European market leader in cable access network products and a key global provider of video headends, we’re expanding rapidly in North America. Our portfolio empowers operators to provide top-tier broadband and TV services while minimizing network ownership costs and maintaining flexibility for future tech evolution. We design and manufacture most of our products in-house, with R&D centers in Finland and Belgium and manufacturing based in Finland.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • 8+ years of proven success in B2B sales leadership
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and deliver results
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in CRM systems and sales analytics tools
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

  • MBA preferred
  • Strong familiarity with broadband, cable, or related technologies is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for key accounts.
  • Set and achieve aggressive sales goals and KPIs in alignment with the executive team.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, deeply understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis to uncover growth areas and new opportunities.
  • Own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to deal closure—ensuring a healthy pipeline.
  • Negotiate and close deals with favorable terms for both clients and the company.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs.
  • Lead the creation and presentation of sales materials with support from the product team.
  • Provide regular performance updates and insights to drive ongoing improvement.
  • Leverage CRM and analytics tools to measure success and optimize the sales process.
