About The Position

MalaceHR is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development & Sales Specialist – Mobile Maintenance to support growth within our mobile trade services division. This role is responsible for expanding market presence and driving new business opportunities across HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and general carpentry services. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales expertise with industry knowledge to deliver consultative solutions and build long-term client relationships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in one of the following:
  • Mobile maintenance services
  • HVAC/R, mechanical, plumbing, or electrical industries
  • B2B/outside sales or technical roles (Estimator, Project Manager, Service Manager)
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and managing a sales pipeline
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong attention to detail and sound business judgment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed
  • Approximately 10% travel required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with CRM platforms and tools such as ZoomInfo, CoStar, or similar sales analytics platforms

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation within target markets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including facility managers, property managers, engineers, and procurement teams
  • Lead negotiations and manage complex sales cycles through to close
  • Conduct site visits and needs assessments to understand client requirements and scope of work
  • Collaborate with internal teams (operations, estimating, design) to develop tailored service solutions
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
  • Respond to RFPs and provide accurate pricing and service recommendations
  • Maintain and manage a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Participate in industry associations and networking events (e.g., BOMA, IFMA, IREM, ASHE)
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity
  • Support marketing initiatives and client engagement efforts
  • Ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery for new clients
  • Provide ongoing support to maintain customer satisfaction and retention
