A Day in the Life of a Business Development Representative Under supervision of the CEO, the Business Development Representative is responsible for driving growth and expansion of the credit union's membership base and promoting its products and services within the community. This role builds and maintains strong relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and potential members to increase awareness, and generate new accounts, and support strategic goals for membership and sales growth. Role requires ability to travel extensively to participate in community events, SEG visits, and business, and chamber meetings.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • 3+ years' experience in a business development and or marketing role, preferably with a credit union or financial institution.
  • Demonstrated experience and success with sales and negotiations.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and a safe fully operational vehicle.
  • Must be willing to travel throughout the State of New Jersey and surrounding areas.
  • Must be available to attend events outside of normal business hours, during weekends, and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual English and Spanish a Plus
  • Associate's degree or higher preferred.
