About The Position

The Business Development Representative (Security Solutions) at Digital Provisions will be instrumental in driving growth by targeting prospective customers across sectors such as higher education, healthcare, retail banks, franchise stores, and K-12 institutions outside of our primary Long Island market. This role requires an individual skilled in relationship-building and value-driven sales tactics, able to communicate the value of our customized security solutions and address the unique needs of each customer. We are looking for a STRONG SALES HUNTER, with proven success.

Requirements

  • STRONG Sales HUNTING experience.
  • 1–3 years of sales experience (outside, door-to-door, or cold calling), with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) to enhance customer relationship management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and clearly convey complex technical offerings.
  • Ability to give in-person presentations/demonstrations to potential customers.
  • Willingness to make high volumes of calls and/or visits to generate new opportunities, and comfortable facing rejection head-on.
  • Technologically savvy with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt outreach approach to meet the differing relationship needs of public versus private sector customers.

Responsibilities

  • New Customer Acquisition & Relationship Management
  • Lead efforts to secure meetings with prospects across targeted industries and regions, expanding Digital Provisions’ customer base.
  • Build and nurture strong customer relationships, using tailored solutions to meet specific needs and promote long-term engagement.
  • Develop a strategic, replicable approach to cold and warm outreach, with consistent data entry, tracking, and follow-up.
  • Lead Conversion and Pipeline Growth
  • Identify, prospect, and develop the pipeline.
  • Schedule and convert on qualified prospecting meetings, with a bias towards securing interest from Mid-Tier and High-Tier accounts as defined by leadership.
  • Uncover and close upsell opportunities by proactively identifying customers needs through warm outreach and regular check-ins.
  • CRM Accuracy and Activity Tracking
  • Maintain CRM hygiene with all lead interactions and follow-ups.
  • Work hand-in-hand with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure flawless implementation of security systems and maintain strong customer service standards.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $60-65k + commissions; $110k+ OTE at quota.This has some flexibility, based on overall experience and performance.
