Business Development Representative (BDR) The Opportunity We are seeking a driven and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our Growth Marketing organization. Reporting into the Director of Business Development, this role is a core part of Candescent’s proactive growth engine - responsible for generating qualified expansion pipeline through targeted, coordinated outreach across an assigned territory. This is a territory-based, expansion-focused role supporting existing customers by introducing new partnerships, add-on services, and platform upgrades. You will help drive awareness and demand across a defined total addressable market (banks and credit unions across the U.S.), activating Growth Marketing and Sales motions across platform messaging, campaign follow-up, event-driven outreach, and whitespace opportunities. Why This Role Matters The BDR team is a critical extension of Growth Marketing - helping ensure Candescent shows up in the market with relevance, consistency, and impact. This role offers early exposure to modern GTM strategy, account-based motions, and cross-functional collaboration, with a clear path for career growth. As a BDR, you will sit at the intersection of Growth Marketing and Sales, translating GTM strategy into action through disciplined, multi-channel engagement. You’ll leverage phone, email, LinkedIn, and digital outreach tools to create meaningful conversations that surface opportunity and move accounts forward. You’ll be supported by strong enablement, clear prioritization, and close partnership with Sales, Field Marketing, and Campaign teams.
