About The Position

Momentive Software is seeking a motivated and curious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join their Atlanta team. This role is designed for recent college graduates or individuals new to the professional workforce who are excited to learn the foundations of sales, grow quickly, and make a meaningful impact. As a BDR, you will learn how to qualify inbound leads, prospect for new clients, and introduce Momentive Software’s solutions to nonprofit and association organizations. You’ll connect with potential customers, understand their needs, and schedule high-quality meetings for the sales team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy talking with people, are eager to build professional skills, and desire a clear career growth path. Momentive provides extensive training, structured enablement, and hands-on coaching from experienced leaders, with a commitment to developing early-career talent and promoting from within. A typical day involves qualifying inbound leads by responding quickly, asking thoughtful questions, and determining fit. You will prospect for new clients through various outreach methods such as cold calling, email campaigns, social selling, and networking. The role requires conducting research using tools like ZoomInfo to identify key contacts and understand target organizations. You will engage potential customers in friendly, consultative conversations to identify challenges and match them to Momentive Software solutions, and schedule discovery calls or demos for the sales team. Collaboration with managers and teammates to learn best practices for outreach, messaging, and pipeline building is essential, as is keeping accurate notes and activity details in Salesforce. You will also build confidence in understanding nonprofit and association industry needs and how Momentive products support them.
