About The Position

Seeking proactive, assertive, upbeat, driven individual with proven success in building relationships and closing business! This position is responsible for accelerating growth and market penetration in Company focused target markets through new Client development and current Client growth. The position is located at our Boerne office and will require some overnight travel.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent with 5 years’ experience in B2B sales
  • Effective communication skills (orally and in-writing)
  • History of successful contract negotiation
  • Self-starter
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English.
  • Strong (effective) written and verbal communication skills, exceptional computer skills.
  • Strong skills of time management, organizational and multi-tasking.
  • This position requires the ability to listen and hear, good eyesight, sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, stooping, kneeling, reaching and use of hands and arms.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with diverse groups of people, including company employees at all levels, customers, vendors, suppliers and other outside professionals with whom the company deals with on a regular basis.
  • Represent SEnergy when meeting with Client, potential Client, or other stakeholders.
  • Maintain good documentation, including telephone conversations, meetings, contract decisions, and all other pertinent information.
  • Effectively communicate with Client(s) and potential Client(s) in a timely manner, representing SEnergy; all Client inquiries should have a response back to Client within 48 hours of request.
  • Receive and manage incoming inquires (phone calls, emails, etc.) from prospective customers and follow up through whole sales process.
  • Execute market strategy to gain new prospects to increase sales.
  • Manage and update pipeline weekly by close of business Friday to ensure readiness for Business Development meetings on Monday.
  • Prepare meeting reports with Client’s for the week and submit details to Marketing Manager and/or COO by close of business each Friday.
  • Report pipeline updates and new opportunities weekly on Monday to all associated management in scheduled Business Development Meeting.
  • Assist Marketing in preparing customer/prospect quote letters with information provided by interdisciplinary team.
  • Develop, maintain, and update HubSpot with customer information, status, amounts, etc. Report closing rate percentages to Management in the first Business Development meeting per month.
  • Complete any customer/prospect surveys and submit by request date.
  • Set up, coordinate, and attend Client meetings and/or conference calls. Coordinate with any technical staff that need to be involved in the meeting to ensure effectiveness.
  • Manage end to end sales processes from initial Client engagement to proposal responses and close contracts.
  • Maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service.
  • Complete timesheets daily.
  • Other duties as assigned.
