About The Position

We are looking for a high-energy Business Development Representative (BDR) to generate new sales opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, and qualifying leads. This role is focused on opening doors and booking meetings for the Director of Sales with qualified decision-makers. If you’re competitive, resilient, and motivated by performance, this role is a great entry point into a high-growth sales organization.

Requirements

  • 1 – 3 years phone-based sales experience preferred (cold calling or appointment setting ideal).
  • Strong communicator who is comfortable engaging decision-makers.
  • Motivated by goal-based compensation.
  • Experience with CRM tools (or willingness to learn).

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with automotive or EV space helpful, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound outreach via email or phone to dealerships and commercial prospects nationwide.
  • Introduce Future Energy’s value proposition and secures calendar-booked meetings.
  • Identify and research prospective clients that align with our ideal customer profile.
  • Schedule calls directly using shared calendar access
  • Maintain accurate records of conversations and notes into CRM (Zoho) and established lead tracker.
  • Follow up on unanswered or busy leads with 1–2 additional call attempts.
  • Meet weekly call volume (300+ calls)
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and leadership to refine messaging and targeting.
  • Represent the company with credibility, curiosity, and professionalism at all times.
  • Participate in occasional training/touch-base meeting with Sales Director.
