About The Position

The Business Development Representative plays a vital role in supporting the organization's community engagement efforts. Reporting to the Vice President of Community Relations, this position focuses on implementing outreach initiatives, coordinating events, and maintaining strong communication with community stakeholders. The role requires an organized, proactive individual who thrives in building relationships and ensuring the successful execution of community programs and partnerships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, be 21 years or older, and be deemed insurable through Team Recovery's insurance carrier.
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a track record of successful community engagement and partnership building, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate political and healthcare landscapes to advocate for change.
  • Strong communication skills, with a talent for inspiring others and articulating complex ideas clearly.
  • Resilience and adaptability, with a readiness to embrace challenges and drive innovation.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen required.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing the community engagement strategy developed by organizational leadership.
  • Coordinate logistics and execution for community events, outreach initiatives, and partnership meetings.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day communication with community partners, stakeholders, and external collaborators.
  • Support outreach campaigns by drafting engagement materials, managing community updates and social media communications, and tracking participation.
  • Collect, maintain, and analyze data related to community initiatives to measure impact and support continuous improvement.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for leadership on community engagement activities and progress toward goals.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure outreach efforts align with organizational programs, services, and mission priorities.
  • Represent the organization professionally at community events and assist with public speaking, presentations, or partner-facing communications as needed.
  • Identify and cultivate new partnership opportunities that expand the organization's community presence and impact.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support community relations and organizational objectives.
