About the Role: A Business Development Representative (BDR) is a highly qualified and proven sales professional in Facilities Services and/or the Mechanical Services industries. Desired candidate should have 5+ years of over-plan sales performance in Facilities and/or Mechanical Services. Compensation based on experience.

Requirements

  • A complete understanding of all Perfection sales offerings
  • Complete financial understanding of bundled offerings
  • Ability to provide creative financial packages
  • Ability to provide cost of operations, energy retrofits, cash flow analysis with every offering
  • Ability to size and design HVAC system solutions (5+ years experience desired)
  • An understanding of utility management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills
  • Excellent computer knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify prospective customers
  • Fully qualify prospective customers
  • Perform needs analyses
  • Develop financial analyses and justification
  • Manage complex selling processes
  • Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests
  • Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms
  • Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
  • Build relationships to develop new sales opportunities from cold or inactive accounts
  • Interact at all levels of an organization (executive, management, employee)
  • Deliver high quality presentations to individuals and decision-making boards
  • Close high volume of profitable business
  • Update and maintain sales database as appropriate, including data discovery tied to initiatives
