Paladin Data Corporation is seeking a driven, energetic self-starter with prior sales experience to join our Mesa-based sales team. This entry-level position is designed to groom you into a high-performance Business Development Representative (BDR). The BDR is responsible for generating new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying prospective customers. This role serves as the frontline of the sales organization, bridging marketing efforts and the sales pipeline by initiating meaningful conversations with potential clients. BDRs focus on outbound prospecting and inbound lead qualification, ensuring that high-quality opportunities are passed to Account Executives or Sales Managers for closing.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research target accounts and key decision-makers.
  • Execute outbound outreach via phone, email, and social channels.
  • Maintain consistent daily activity levels (calls, emails, touches).
  • Engage inbound and outbound leads to assess fit and buying intent.
  • Understand prospect needs, challenges, and decision-making process.
  • Qualify opportunities based on defined criteria (e.g., budget, authority, need, timeline).
  • Schedule meetings for the sales team.
  • Accurately document activities and insights in CRM.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Draw on other team members' knowledge through communication and collaboration.
  • Exceed goals for sales activities and qualified opportunities.
