As a Business Development Representative Manager, you will lead a team of BDRs responsible for generating new business and cultivating leads for the outside sales team. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end business development process, including planning, building, and optimizing the sales pipeline. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years in customer service, call center, or inside sales roles, and experience in related industries such as manufacturing, distribution, retail, lumber, or automotive
  • Minimum of 2 years in management, team leadership, or prospecting enablement roles
  • Knowledge of marketing and sales processes

Nice To Haves

  • 4+ years of experience managing a lead generation team with a proven track record of achieving goals
  • Previous experience in inbound and outbound lead generation and hands-on expertise with Salesforce
  • Excellent interpersonal and team management skills, with strong analytical and organizational capabilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage the BDR team, including recruiting, onboarding, training, and conducting career development conversations to foster growth
  • Establish and execute prospecting and lead generation programs, designing multi-touch campaigns to generate high-quality sales leads
  • Track and report on marketing campaign performance, making adjustments to improve results and lead quality
  • Guide BDRs to focus outreach activities on the right segments, target audiences, and messaging for maximum impact
  • Monitor and manage the lead funnel, assess lead quality through KPIs, and collaborate with marketing and sales teams to accelerate lead movement and ensure SLA compliance
  • Work effectively with key stakeholders across sales, marketing operations, brand, and communications to align strategies and objectives
