About The Position

As a Business Development Representative I, you'll be on the front lines of ProService Hawaii's growth-sparking conversations with small business leaders and opening doors to high-impact partnerships. You'll use a combination of cold calls, email sequences, LinkedIn outreach, and event follow-up to generate interest and book qualified meetings for our full-cycle sales team. Success here means owning your activity, thinking strategically about how to engage decision-makers, and consistently building a strong top-of-funnel pipeline in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Proven success in outbound B2B sales, lead generation, or appointment setting roles
  • High comfort level with cold calling and navigating sales objections
  • Familiarity with CRM and prospecting tools (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, HubSpot)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially with executives and business owners
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented with a passion for exceeding activity targets

Responsibilities

  • Drive outbound prospecting across multiple channels (phone, email, social media, event outreach)
  • Book and hand off 5+ qualified meetings per week to full-cycle sales representatives
  • Customize messaging based on lead source, industry, and business needs
  • Respond quickly to inbound and event-generated leads to maximize conversion
  • Track activities and outcomes using tools like Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo, and HubSpot
  • Represent ProService Hawaii at community and business events to identify new prospects
