About The Position

A Business Development Representative (BDR) is a member of the Outside Sales Team who is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, prospecting leads, closing sales and building relationships with potential and current clients. They play a crucial role in the sales pipeline by reaching out to prospects, qualifying leads, and selling . This role requires strong communication skills, persistence, and a strategic mindset to drive business growth.

Requirements

  • BS/MS degree in business administration preferred} or a related field or demonstrated experience.
  • Successful previous experience (1-3 years preferred) as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars and conferences.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft products.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Communication Skills – Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, management and internal team member.
  • Analytical Skills – Ability to analyze sales data, market trends and financial reports.
  • Problem – Solving Skills – Ability to analyze sales data, market trends and financial reports.
  • Negotiation Skills – Strong skills in negotiating contracts and closing deals.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect leads to generate business.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
  • Collaborate with appropriate team members to determine strategic sales approaches.
  • Deliver results consistently by hitting KPI's and Standard Performance Goals that are identified for success.
  • Ensure follow-up by passing leads to appropriate stages with calls-to-action, dates, complete profile information, sources, etc.
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, and other sales actions to set appointments daily.
  • Support client visits, events and/or trainings.
  • Overcome objections of prospective customers.
  • Attend daily meetings.
  • Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.
