About The Position

You'll research accounts, craft compelling outreach, and initiate dialogues that open doors for our sales team to demonstrate life-changing technology. Every day you will identify target decision makers, craft personalized messaging that cuts through the noise, and conduct discovery conversations that qualify real opportunity from casual interest. You'll be the architect of our pipeline, the catalyst for our growth, and the foundation upon which our revenue team builds success. The Business Development Representative will build ConCntric's pipeline by executing effective outbound prospecting campaigns and qualifying inbound leads. This high-impact role is ideal for high-caliber individuals launching their sales careers - whether you're a recent graduate with exceptional drive and business acumen or an experienced BDR looking to apply your skills in construction technology. Requirements

  • For Experienced BDRs: 1+ year of BDR/SDR experience in B2B SaaS with proven track record of meeting/exceeding quotas
  • For New Graduates: Bachelor's degree (any major), demonstrated work ethic through internships/part-time work, leadership in campus activities, competitive sports, or other high-achievement environments
  • Exceptional communication skills - both written and verbal - with ability to engage professionally
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to quickly learn complex industries and solutions
  • Resilience and persistence with positive, growth-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic and accountability
  • Competitive drive and desire to win individually and as a team
  • Comfort with technology and ability to learn new tools quickly
  • Coachable and hungry for feedback and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM systems (we use HubSpot), sales engagement platforms (Outreach, SalesLoft), or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Interest in or exposure to construction, real estate, or building materials industries
  • Sales or client-facing experience (internships, retail, hospitality, etc.)
  • Background in high-growth startup or venture-backed companies
  • Track record of exceeding goals in academic, athletic, or professional settings
  • Experience in roles requiring high activity and disciplined metrics tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in remote or autonomous work environments

Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and quarterly targets for qualified meetings and pipeline generated
  • Execute multi-channel outbound prospecting campaigns targeting SMB, mid-market, and enterprise construction firms
  • Research and identify key decision makers (VPs of Preconstruction, Estimating Directors, CFOs, CTOs) within target accounts
  • Craft personalized, relevant outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and video that generates response and engagement
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to understand prospect needs, challenges, and timing to qualify opportunity fit
  • Schedule qualified meetings for Account Executive team with clear opportunity briefs
  • Manage and nurture inbound leads from marketing campaigns, website, and events through to qualification
  • Maintain consistent activity metrics
  • Collaborate with Marketing on campaign messaging, content development, and lead quality feedback
  • Partner with Account Executives to optimize handoff process and improve conversion rates
  • Track all activity, pipeline generation, and conversion metrics in Hubspot CRM with disciplined data hygiene
  • Develop deep understanding of construction industry pain points, workflows, and buying behaviors
