As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll play a pivotal role in engaging prospective customers, qualifying their needs, and connecting them with our expert Designers. You'll represent Ulrich's values, highlight the benefits of our backyard solutions, and ensure every client begins their journey with us on the right note.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a top earner in sales preferred but not required-we'll train you if you're motivated to succeed.
  • Hands-on experience with inbound and outbound sales techniques is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-energy, phone-based sales environment.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs is a bonus.
  • Tech-savvy with familiarity in CRM software and Google Suite.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
  • Enthusiastic about delivering engaging and compelling product visions.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound leads through calls, texts, emails, and walk-ins.
  • Actively engage with prospects, building immediate and trusting relationships.
  • Present Ulrich's value proposition and help clients identify their needs.
  • Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities.
  • Identify the client's motivations (WHO and WHY) and urgency (WHEN).
  • Redirect "price-first" conversations to focus on client needs and Ulrich's process.
  • Transition qualified leads to Designers with thorough notes and a seamless handoff.
  • Schedule appointments using Google Calendar, ensuring clear communication with all parties.
  • Actively seek new business opportunities through organic social media listings and engagement (e.g., Facebook Marketplace).
  • Follow up with no-shows and nurture stalled leads to create new opportunities.
  • Maintain CRM data accurately and provide insights to the Sales Manager.
  • Monitor and maintain the Design Center's cleanliness and appearance.
  • Manage inventory of supplies and order as needed
