About The Position

The company specializes in tax credit, structured debt, and real estate transactions. Twain collaborates with financial institutions, corporations, and high-net-worth individuals to structure and manage investments that offer both attractive economic returns and social benefits. The Business Development Officer will play a key role in supporting Twain’s Sustainable Infrastructure team. This individual will be responsible for originating project finance investment opportunities and managing relationships with project sponsors. The ideal candidate is excited to drive growth and has deep relationships across the renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure sectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 7+ years of experience in renewable energy or sustainable infrastructure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with Solar and BESS project finance
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and strong attention to detail
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Responsibilities

• Originate and manage relationships with project developers and owners
• Negotiate investment terms and structures
• Identify opportunities to provide financing to project developers and owners
• Represent the firm at industry events and conferences
