About The Position

Carefree Living our established assisted living community in Burnsville, MN is seeking candidates for a Full time Business Development Marketing Representative to join our team. Hours are full time Monday through Friday 8am-430pm. POSITION PURPOSE: The Business Development Marketing Representative is responsible for external sales activities to build and grow referrals and admissions, to develop new accounts and maintain existing accounts, and to execute community events for referral sources and customers. We rely on the Business Marketing Representative's expertise to build and grow census and quality mix by developing the market and providing prospective patients/responsible parties with appropriate information and assistance in choosing our Assisted Living Facilities. In addition to excellent written/verbal communication, problem solving and decision-making abilities, our candidate will possess the ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team . Quality Operations P romote our services by cultivating relationships with referral sources, conducting presentations from time to time, and calling referral sources over the phone to generate new business and or in person. Develop and implement long-range and short-term sales Tactfully present the realities of processes and financial costs with caregivers, family, and friends of prospective residents who are facing difficult life events to ensure the success of gaining clients. Uses a sequential sales process to uncover the hospital's needs and wants Ensure the appropriate and timely conversion of direct inbound calls, emails, and other electronic referrals from outside Actively seeks out and identifies new referrals Maintains a current prioritized account list and target list of potential new referral Extensive contact via phone and email are daily expectations in a fast-paced environment assisting those seeking assistance in a residential setting. Ensure Confidentiality of sensitive information. Sales and Marketing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase census and maintain financial Develop and maintain relationships with third parties such as county social workers, hospital discharge planners and others to gain referral sources. Network with other community providers and associations. Assists in developing lead generating activities to ensure adequate leads are produced to meet performance Assists in the success of internal sales programs such as the resident/family referral and associate referral Assists on community tours for individuals and groups, special events, open houses, seminars, receptions Responsible for some reports and analysis of reports, as assigned.

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in marketing, business or healthcare field preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in healthcare-related sales, marketing, insurance or commensurate education is preferred
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of value-based selling, regulatory standards and compliance requirements
