About The Position

Tectonic, a multi-disciplined professional engineering firm, is currently seeking a full-time Business Development / Marketing Associate to join our Forest Hills, NY Office. This position offers excellent opportunity for professional growth and development! ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Essential functions include the preparation and coordination of proposals, statements of qualifications, and associated marketing materials for professional services. This role works closely with technical staff to translate complex technical concepts into clear written and graphic content while ensuring compliance with client and agency requirements. Additional responsibilities include assisting with and/or leading the development of marketing collateral, maintaining and improving BD department resources, proofreading, editing, quality control, and other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements

1+ years of relevant experience, with a BS Degree or equivalent in Communications, Business/Marketing, Graphic Design, English, Literature, or similar, or any other suitable combination of experience, education & training
Experience using graphic design and layout tools to develop marketing and BD materials
proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (especially InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite Required
Excellent planning, writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
Outstanding interpersonal and collaboration skills
Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline driven atmosphere
