About The Position

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within the architectural and construction markets. This role is focused on building strong relationships with key stakeholders, driving project opportunities, and collaborating internally to deliver winning solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven success in business development or sales within construction, architectural products, or a related industry
  • Strong understanding of the commercial construction process and key stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience with ACM (Aluminum Composite Material) and plate wall panel systems in commercial construction
  • Experience working with or alongside estimating teams is a plus
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with architects, subcontractors, and national distributors
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers to drive long-term partnerships
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, from initial outreach through project award
  • Collaborate closely with the estimating team to develop accurate and competitive proposals
  • Take ownership of estimating efforts for strategic customers and key opportunities, ensuring alignment between customer needs, pricing strategy, and project scope
  • Track and manage all customer interactions, opportunities, and pipeline activity within Salesforce
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales attainment goals
  • Stay informed on market trends, upcoming projects, and competitive activity
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and client meetings
  • Provide feedback from the field to help refine product offerings and go-to-market strategies
