About The Position

A Business Development Manager needs a dynamic blend of strategic planning, relationship building, and opportunity seeking. The role involves staying informed about market trends and potential openings to expand the company's reach, identifying new prospects, conducting in-depth market analysis, and developing strategic plans to penetrate untapped markets, all with a focus on driving growth. A significant portion of time is dedicated to building and nurturing relationships with potential clients, partners, and key decision-makers, positioning the company as an ideal partner through thoughtful communication and understanding business needs to foster long-term collaborations and new revenue streams. Internally, the manager collaborates with cross-functional teams (operations, marketing, executive leadership) to craft innovative solutions aligned with market demand and client expectations, and negotiates contracts to ensure deals support both client satisfaction and company profitability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in solution-based sales or internal sales support
  • Proven track record in generating and growing new business
  • Strategic sales planning and pipeline management expertise
  • Consistently exceeds revenue goals
  • Builds strong relationships with senior clients and key decision makers
  • Influences strategic alliances and drives business solutions
  • Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences with a strong client-focused approach
  • Drive sales growth through prospecting, closing new business, and expanding existing accounts

  • Collaborate with National and Regional Sales teams for a cohesive sales strategy
  • Utilize Salesforce as the primary sales management tool
  • Support collections, RFP processes, and operational commitments to customers
  • Participate in recruiting, hiring, training, and personal development initiatives
  • Travel 20-50%, including overnight and potential extended stays at disaster sites
