About The Position

The Business Development Manager (BDM), is instrumental in accelerating Zenoti’s SaaS growth within the salon and spa sector. The BDM is responsible for driving new leads/sales through the development of new business opportunities. Reporting to the Vice President, Business Development, Zenoti, this role focuses on creating and maintaining strong relationship with salon/spa clients, building strong relationships with manufacturers and sales consultants, identifying market trends, and driving new business.

Requirements

  • Must have deep understanding and at least 7 year experience, selling to and working with luxury salons and spas.

Responsibilities

  • Identify New Business Opportunities
  • Grow the Zenoti salon and spa lead generation geographically, honoring brand guidelines.
  • Identify potential qualified clients with multi- center opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Drive leads to events and demos with the potential to maximize all Zenoti offerings with a high potential MRR.
  • Meet or exceed new business leads per quarter.
  • Build and Maintaining Relationships
  • Develop strong relationships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster long-term collaborations and support business growth.
  • Utilize strong client relationships to generate referrals.
  • Utilize market champions and influencers to collaborate and support new business opportunities.
  • Partner with Account Executive Sales team, Sales Engineers, and SDR team.
  • Sales Strategy Development
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective market sales strategy.
  • Identify industry events within market to attend and participate in.
  • Lead business events and coordinating team efforts.
  • Utilize integrated marketing channels such as social media to support Zenoti products/services.
  • Market Research and Analysis
  • Conduct thorough research to understand market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Understand where the competition is excelling.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of business development initiatives.
  • Prepare market recaps and reports for senior management.
  • Suggest strategy such as potential partner and/or events.
  • Become a Zenoti Champion
  • Uphold Zenoti brand representation standards.
  • Have a deep understanding of Zenoti’s products, services, partners, and value.
  • Engage with the software to familiarize yourself with its features and functionalities.
  • Interact with current customers, seek to understand need, challenges, as well as positive experiences.
  • Proactively propose ideas for improvement.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the company’s mission and goals.
