About The Position

This entry-level, in-office sales role supports hotel revenue growth by managing and qualifying inbound leads from the website and CRM system. The position serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients, assessing needs and ensuring timely, strategic lead distribution to the appropriate sales team members to maximize response times and conversion rates. In addition to handling inbound inquiries, this role is responsible for generating new business through outbound prospecting, including calls and follow-up outreach. The position also represents the hotel at networking events and provides on-site support to clients during events or site visits as needed. Flexibility is required, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet client needs and support business development efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and respond to inbound leads from the website and CRM system, ensuring timely and accurate follow-up to support revenue goals.
  • Qualify incoming inquiries by identifying client needs, budget, timeline, and event requirements before assigning leads to the appropriate sales team member.
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting, including cold calls, email outreach, and follow-up communications.
  • Represent the hotel at networking events and community functions to build relationships, increase brand awareness, and drive new lead generation.
  • Provide on-site support for clients during site visits, meetings, and events as needed, including occasional evenings and weekends to ensure a high level of service and client satisfaction.
  • Utilize sales platforms, CRM systems, and other technology tools effectively to manage leads and client communications, demonstrating strong computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
