About The Position

Drive strategic growth by identifying, qualifying, and capturing federal contracting opportunities that expand a leading Government/Military organization's portfolio across U.S. government agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Government, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • 5+ years of business development, capture, or sales experience in federal contracting
  • Demonstrated success winning federal contracts (prime and/or subcontract)
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes
  • Hands-on experience with contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules)
  • Established network within federal agencies and/or government contractors
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in IT, cybersecurity, Special Operations, linguistics, intelligence, engineering, logistics, or related defense/government sectors
  • Active security clearance (Secret or Top Secret)
  • Proficiency with federal procurement tools (GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, USAspending)
  • Capture management and/or proposal development experience
  • Master's degree or relevant certifications (APMP or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and capture efforts across the full federal procurement lifecycle—from opportunity identification through contract award
  • Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with organizational capabilities
  • Develop and execute winning strategies for competitive opportunities
  • Foster strong relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners
  • Support proposal development by contributing to solutioning, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to inform growth strategy
  • Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting within CRM systems

Benefits

  • Salary: $100,000 - $120,000/year
