About The Position

Drive strategic growth by identifying, qualifying, and capturing federal contracting opportunities that expand a leading Government/Military organization's portfolio across U.S. government agencies.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Government, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
5+ years of business development, capture, or sales experience in federal contracting
Demonstrated success winning federal contracts (prime and/or subcontract)
Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS and federal acquisition processes
Hands-on experience with contract vehicles (GWACs, IDIQs, BPAs, GSA Schedules)
Established network within federal agencies and/or government contractors
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

Experience in IT, cybersecurity, Special Operations, linguistics, intelligence, engineering, logistics, or related defense/government sectors
Active security clearance (Secret or Top Secret)
Proficiency with federal procurement tools (GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, USAspending)
Capture management and/or proposal development experience
Master's degree or relevant certifications (APMP or equivalent)

Responsibilities

Lead business development and capture efforts across the full federal procurement lifecycle—from opportunity identification through contract award
Build and maintain a qualified pipeline aligned with organizational capabilities
Develop and execute winning strategies for competitive opportunities
Foster strong relationships with government stakeholders and industry partners
Support proposal development by contributing to solutioning, pricing strategies, and competitive positioning
Monitor market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes to inform growth strategy
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and reporting within CRM systems
