About The Position

Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) , a premium regional security provider is seeking a Business Development Manager in the Southeast Florida area. GENERAL PURPOSE : Driving business growth, helping business make decisions and developing relationships. Their duties can vary on a day-to-day basis, but may include: Identifying opportunities: Researching target markets, attending meetings, and networking to find opportunities Generating leads: Cold calling, reaching out to prospects, and pursuing leads through the sales cycle Creating plans: Developing growth strategies, forecasting sales targets, and setting goals for business and revenue growth Negotiating: Negotiating client pricing and developing and negotiating contracts Promoting: Demonstrating products or services and guiding customers through purchase decisions Maintaining relationships: Maintaining positive client relationships and providing feedback to salespeople Closing deals: Proposing and cultivating business deals, and closing new business deals

Requirements

  • Prefer a bachelor's degree, will accept equivalent or professional experience on a case-by-case basis.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in security or equivalent field.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and written communication skills.
