About The Position

Elevated is the fastest growing independent elevator service provider in the US, operating in 58 markets across 22 states. They provide elevator maintenance, repair, and modernization services, driven by a commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Elevated was recently acquired by APi Group, a $7B annual revenue, publicly traded company focused on building great leaders. The Business Development Manager will drive growth within the elevator maintenance division by identifying and developing new customer prospects, effectively qualifying leads, and securing multi-year elevator service contracts. The primary objective is to expand the portfolio of elevator service customers through strategic outreach and relationship building within the territory covering Washington, D.C., Maryland, Northern Virginia, South-Central Pennsylvania, and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia.

Requirements

  • No industry experience required.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Works well in a team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting (to include cold calling) in the elevator service market for potential service customers.
  • Manages bid solicitation process.
  • Surveys vertical transportation equipment (elevators, escalators, chair lifts etc.) during prospecting process.
  • Negotiates, prepares, and presents service contracts to potential customers.
