As a Business Development Manager at EVOQ, you are the front door to revenue - the person who decides which opportunities are worth pursuing for your assigned agencies and ensures we win the right ones. You will sit at the intersection of strategy, sales, and operations, working across multiple high-performing agencies to qualify, shape, and convert new business opportunities. Requirements

  • 3-7+ years in business development, agency sales, client service, or a similar role
  • Proven experience qualifying opportunities and guiding them through a structured pitch or proposal process
  • Opportunity judgment: Able to quickly assess business fit, prioritize effectively, and confidently recommend whether to pursue or decline opportunities
  • Consultative communication: Skilled at leading discovery conversations, asking the right questions, and uncovering real client needs
  • Operational rigor: Highly organized with strong attention to detail; brings structure to pipelines, processes, and deliverables
  • Team orchestration: Skilled at coordinating cross-functional teams, aligning stakeholders, and driving progress across multiple workstreams
  • Execution discipline: Ensures timelines, deliverables, and internal alignment are consistently met without gaps
  • Operates as a business partner, not a salesperson - prioritizing opportunity quality over volume
  • Sharp, curious, and decisive in evaluating fit and guiding conversations
  • Acts as the central driver of momentum - aligning teams, structuring the work, and ensuring nothing stalls or slips
  • Thrives in a fast paced ever changing environment.
  • Holds a high bar for execution, accountability, and measurable outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for inbound opportunities across EVOQ agencies
  • Lead discovery conversations to assess client needs, budget, timeline, and strategic fit
  • Decide which opportunities move forward - and which do not
  • Coordinate pitch teams, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure every proposal is strategic, tailored, and high-quality
  • Occasionally lead or co-lead pitch presentations
  • Maintain rigorous CRM tracking (pipeline, notes, next steps)
  • Partner with leadership to shape scopes, pricing, and proposals
  • Ensure seamless transition from sale to account management
  • Continuously improve processes through feedback and insights
