About The Position

We are seeking a highly driven, results‑oriented Business Development Manager with exceptional sales acumen and strong bilingual communication skills. This role reports directly to the Sales & Marketing Director and plays a critical part in expanding Paxiom’s footprint across the Western United States and Latin America. Paxiom Group, an ATS company, is a leading provider of primary, secondary, and end-of-line packaging machines with more than 30 years of industry expertise. Operating from four global facilities, with a passionate and focused staff of professionals, we also have a strong national service presence, the ability to provide systems integration, and an installed base that includes more than 7,000 machines across the world. Paxiom Group offers a wide range of primary and secondary packaging technologies, servicing industries that range from food, nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, industrial, and cannabis. Paxiom’s Sale and Service operation is located in Las Vegas, NV, with its primary manufacturing sites in Montreal (WeighPack Systems); Miami, FL (EndFlex); and Shanghai, China (Kang-Di). Packaging solutions include Vertical and Horizontal Form Fill Seal, Pre-made pouch bagging, flow wrapping, cartoning, and bag-in-box solutions. Their filling technology includes auger powder filling, weigh filling for solids, multi-point depositors, and pre-roll automation for cannabis. Additionally, they offer a number of integrated and robotic solutions for customers in the packaging space.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably in automation, manufacturing, technology, or related industries.
  • Strong sales acumen with a demonstrated ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred, with ability to engage confidently with customers across Latin America.
  • Based in Nevada, with to travel frequently within the U.S. and internationally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Self‑motivated, independent worker who also thrives in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Represent Paxiom with deep understanding of our solutions and value proposition.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and grow revenue.
  • Prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities across the U.S. West Coast and Latin America.
  • Meet regularly with potential clients—building strong, long‑lasting relationships by understanding their operational needs.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and maintain structured pipeline management.
  • Conduct market research to identify growth areas, customer needs, and industry trends.
  • Draft customer proposals and contracts in alignment with company guidelines.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Finance, Operations, Design, and Project teams based in the United Kingdom.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage customer relationships, track activities, and guide data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyse metrics, and communicate key business trends to leadership.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date technical knowledge of all Paxiom hardware, software, and service offerings.
  • Represent Paxiom at trade show exhibitions and assist with the setup and packing down of stands and products.
