About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager on behalf of a well-established Texas-based service provider expanding its footprint in the data center construction market. The company’s focus is providing workforce housing, site support, and catering solutions for large-scale mission critical and data center construction projects.​ This role is ideal for a high-level business development professional who already has relationships with general contractors, mission critical builders, and key decision-makers involved in temporary workforce support services on major jobsites. Position Overview The Business Development Manager will be responsible for opening doors, building strategic relationships, and securing new business with general contractors, construction managers, and other stakeholders that influence workforce housing and catering decisions on large data center projects. The ideal candidate brings an established network in the construction or mission critical space, understands how large projects are awarded and staffed, and is comfortable traveling to jobsites and industry events as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business development, sales, or strategic account experience in construction, staffing, workforce housing, hospitality, site services, or mission critical industries.
  • Existing relationships with general contractors, EPC firms, construction managers, or owners involved in large-scale industrial or data center projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate opportunities and close business through personal network and direct outreach.
  • Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle and how buying decisions are made in the field.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
  • Based in the San Antonio area or able to work in a hybrid arrangement with reliable travel availability.

  • Experience selling into the data center construction market.
  • Existing contacts with mission critical or hyperscale project teams.
  • Background in workforce housing, remote site services, catering, temporary facilities, or similar field support solutions.
  • Experience working with fast-moving project environments where speed, service, and reliability are critical.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development strategy focused on data center construction projects and related mission critical work.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships to gain introductions and meetings with general contractors, project executives, and decision-makers.
  • Identify upcoming projects, active pursuits, and target accounts where workforce housing, catering, and site support services are needed.
  • Build a pipeline of opportunities with large contractors, developers, and project teams in Texas and other key data center markets.
  • Represent the company at trade events, client meetings, networking functions, and jobsites.
  • Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure proposals align with field execution capabilities.
  • Track activity, opportunities, and client communication in CRM and provide regular pipeline updates.
